55 dealer outlets, approximately 160 tanks
Evans Oil states that with AUTOSEND, they were able to reduce their daily on-hand inventory by at least 94,500 gallons. At the time of this statement, they valued it at $100,170.00. This money went back into cash flow. Additionally, Evans Oil states that with AUTOSEND, run-outs and retains are very rare, as are split loads. They estimate that avoiding these dispatching problems has resulted in another $50,000.00 added to cash flow.

Beroth Oil Co. - Winston-Salem, NC
25 outlets, approximately 80 tanks
AUTOSEND allowed Beroth Oil to reduce their company-wide average on-hand inventory to about 5 days’ worth. This means that all of their UST’s have about 5 days’ worth of fuel.

United Oil of the Carolinas - Gastonia, NC
80 outlets, approximately 300 tanks
United Oil states that AUTOSEND allowed them to go from about 1,500,000 gallons of inventory to about 1,000,000. They state that they could work it down further, but they are comfortable with what the results they have already achieved.

Brilad Oil Co./Flash Foods - Vidalia, GA
20 outlets, approximately 70 tanks
Brilad reduced their company-wide fuel inventory by 10 to 15%. They credit AUTOSEND’s dispatching capabilities for this. They have been able to balance their inventories at their locations. Conservatively, they put a $22,500.00 figure on the inventory carrying cost savings.

Quality Petroleum Corp. - Lakeland, FL
120 locations, approximately 400 tanks
Prior to using AUTOSEND, Quality Petroleum typically used at least 60% of its 1,334,000-gallon holding capacity. With AUTOSEND, they have been able to reduce on-hand inventory from around 800,000 gallons to about 330,000-without run-outs. They also have achieved significant savings by more efficiently using their transport resources.

With AUTOSEND, Hollingsworth Oil is able to keep about 3 days’ worth of fuel at each of their outlets. Therefore, they rarely do split-loads now.
