Each customer is assigned to a salesman Can assign a different salesperson for cardlock sales Code each customer with a commission level 15-character Commission Level field-almost no limit to the number of Commission Levels that can be set up Can have separate Commission Levels for cardlock sales Commission rate and set up for each product Can group products within particular Commission Levels Cost basis: actual cost (weighted average cost); last cost; an artificial user-defined cost; no cost Price basis: actual selling price; an artificial user-defined price (actual price will show on customer invoices) Percentage: percentage of gross profit; percentage of amount between the actual selling price and the artificial selling price Totals basis: units sold of a product; total dollars in the sale; total dollars or units YTD Minimum commission: used if the actual commission is less than a pre-set minimum commission; can also be a fixed dollar amount Maximum commission: used if the actual commission is greater than a pre-set commission; can also be a fixed dollar amount Normal creation/posting of invoices Automatic updating of commission files Shows inventory items with incomplete commission data Shows each salesperson’s commission amounts earned by item |
