Overview
Confused about how critical data will actually get to your office, and then into your COMPAS system, electronically?  You have every reason to be.  Major oil companies send confusing signals when it comes to rolling out refiner-to-jobber data transmission projects on schedule.  We hope this grid helps you see the current picture.  If you don’t see one of your brands listed, that might be because none of our customers has ever requested that we open up an interface for that company’s data.  Call us and ask!

The left-hand column lists the major oil companies.  The second column shows how its reported rack prices can arrive at your office electronically (and from there they can go into COMPAS).  The third column is for electronic BOL’s/manifests.  The fourth column is for electronic fuel invoices.  The fifth column is for credit card batches.

  DTN Energy 
Where listed without an asterisk (*), DTN is the integration partner with that vendor to provide that electronic information. Often times, it can be provided to an AIMS customer in our required format at no additional cost from DTN. Where listed with an asterisk (*), DTN can typically provide that information through one of their services. DTN can also send BOL's that originate at the rack in PetroEx format.
