To the cloud!  Cloud data backup service

First, what does "cloud" mean?  Cloud computing refers to applications and services offered over the Internet. These services are offered from data centers all over the world, which collectively are referred to as the "cloud." This metaphor represents the intangible, yet universal nature of the Internet.

AIMS has partnered with Backup Manager, an Alberta, Canada-based company, to provide you with a "backup for your backup."  For a very small amount of money per month, Backup Manager will continuously and automatically back-up anything you want backed up--not just your AIMS data. 

Best practices for backup dictate that you should always do a local backup (tapes, USB drives, disc devices), and Backup Manager is not a substitute for your own routine local backups.  Backup Manager's service is like putting your data in a bank safety deposit box, but you don't have to do anything to make it happen.

AIMS has thoroughly tested Backup Manager's service with our own massive amounts of files.  We are impressed.  We believe you should evaluate this service.
