AIMS Announces Availability of the Concord Credit Card Interface Monroe, LA - June 15, 2004 – AIMS, Inc. announces the immediate availability of automated credit card clearing for Concord. This is the newest of many interfaces for credit card processing for fuel marketers who use AIMS’ COMPAS software. Concord, now a part of the First Data family, provides credit card validation and settlement services for VISA, MasterCard, debit cards and Voyager cards. With AIMS’ new Concord link, a marketer can modernize the processing of credit card settlements for unbranded or private-branded retail locations. Jamie Roark, AIMS’ Sales Support and Marketing Specialist, stresses that the new Concord interface duplicates the functionality that AIMS has long provided to its customers when it comes to processing major oil’s credit cards. “Just like with major oil credit cards, you download your daily settlement file from Concord, and our interface software will break out the credits, by card type, among your dealers who are set up with Concord. In a few keystrokes, each dealer's account is updated with the correct settlement amount and credit card fee (if desired). You can vary how credit card fees are handled, dealer-by-dealer. This interface is especially impressive when used for consigned dealers because credit card credits are automatically issued to the dealer at the time COMPAS creates the dealer invoice.” Concord’s Margaret Hoyt says that the new AIMS/Concord interface will be a boon for marketers of unbranded fuel, or marketers belonging to co-ops. Ms. Hoyt points out that one of the drawbacks to selling unbranded or co-op branded fuel has been the lack of an efficient way to settle credit card transactions on a daily basis. Now with Concord's technology in electronic payment services available to these distributors and the ability to integrate it into AIMS' COMPAS system, it gives distributors more control over their businesses than they have ever had.
