AIMS, Inc. announces the release of the Credit Card Processing module
for its COMPAS Commander marketer accounting software series. AIMS’
experience with electronically importing, sorting, posting and applying
credit card credits dates back to 1994. All of the requested
improvements AIMS has gathered from users since then have been
incorporated in Commander’s Credit Card module.
|
Commander’s Credit Card module improves upon
earlier versions of this module by allowing the user to pick and
apply posted credit card credits from an easy-to-comprehend
display during:
- Entry
of receipts-on-account,
-
Creation of customer (wholesale) invoices,
- Or
creation of consigned dealer or
c-store invoices.
Commander
creates a voucher that accompanies each of these transactions,
so the marketer can send his/her customers a detailed record of
their credit card credits that have been consumed.
Besides
processing major oil company credit cards, this module also
works with VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, and other non-brand-specific
cards. Each type of card can have |

|
|
its own unique
set-up for fee-handling. Almost any arrangement for splitting,
assigning or absorbing fees can be accommodated automatically.
Card processing fees will post to Commander’s GL and to each
dealer’s expenses, as desired. |
