Announces New E-Invoice Feature
Dramatically
reduces labor costs and clerical errors associated with fuel vendor invoice
entry Monroe,
LA, July 15, 2003 –
AIMS, Inc. announces the availability of the new E-Invoice
feature for its COMPAS software system. Using formatted data delivered
via DTN,
E-Invoice matches vendor invoices to previously entered
BOL’s. Whether there are a few BOL’s to match with invoices, or
hundreds, the matching process takes only seconds. (BOL’s can also be
imported electronically with COMPAS’ E-BOL feature.) Invoices
matching within a tolerance range are automatically processed directly
to Accounts Payable. Exceptions that occur during the matching process
are flagged and reported, allowing the user to manually correct them
before final processing. E-Invoice eliminates a tremendous amount
of clerical labor allowing users to focus their time only on those items
that require attention.
"By using DTN Energy’s DataPlus services, AIMS' customers can
receive all of their supplier invoices consistently formatted for import
into E-Invoice," said Cathy Duncan, Product Manager of
Integrated Services. "This guarantees that time saved from data
entry doesn’t turn into time spent managing file problems and format
changes." DTN Energy aggregates and translates over 2 million
supplier invoices annually for over 75 major fuel suppliers.
