How do you keep tabs on your competitor’s street prices now? Periodic drives throughout your trade area to observe your competitor’s prices? Do you have employees—drivers, managers--who do this as part of their jobs? None of these ways--nor any way that anyone else has come up with--is as good and simple as the Price Survey option for AUTOSEND/AUTOSIR.

Set Up

 Function  Description
Locations Set up is easy; some of the needed data comes from the pre-existing
   AUTOSEND/AUTOSIR station files
For each location:
Determine the competitors; up to five per location
Each location's competitor profile can be unique
How many of each competitor’s grades you want surveyed

Edit Surveys
Checks to see which of your locations has not called in a survey
Sorts the PRICE SURVEY calls by store number and date
Allows you to define the contents of the printed price survey
Can be run by
AUTOSEND/AUTOSIR company number, by date
   range, and by store number range
Can be printed to show exceptions, not to show exceptions, or to
   show exceptions only
Can also be run to show just the dominant competitors prices, or to
   show the full price survey, or both

The parameter you set up and is used to scan the data for possible errors; can be any amount between 1¢ and 99¢
If one of your stores called in a competitor’s price that had moved up
   or down by more than 10¢, that price would be flagged as an
   exception
Allows you to change erroneous prices your dealers have called in
