Stallings Brothers Holdings Inc.

Stallings Brothers is a fuel distributor with 18 drivers and 20 trucks doing business in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. They are the Sunoco racing fuels distributor for area race tracks, and also own and operate six convenience stores with 35 employees. Stallings Brothers Inc., the freight company, has about 450 customers. They also operate home delivery of LP gas and heating oil to a customer base of 3,000.

Before AIMS: In the mid 1990s, business at Stallings Brothers reached a plateau of three drivers and three trucks. Jeff Stallings, son of founder Oris Stallings, decided it was time to reevaluate the company's business goals and get aggressive about growth for the future. He soon realized that keeping various records and books was a daunting task that hindered company growth. He hired Office Manager Kathy Pitts to find a solution – and she found AIMS.

After AIMS: With help from the efficiency of COMPAS, Stallings Brothers has continued to add customers and grow according to Stallings' vision. Although they now have their own shop with a full-time foreman and mechanics, their growth required minimal staff increases, therefore improving their bottom line. They have customized their COMPAS system to fit the way they operate by choosing the capabilities they need.

All of them but AIMS would have required us to make double entries into the G/L.
